As the Kirtland Community College Student Recruiter, this time of year is not supposed to be that busy for me, but guess what?! It has been crazy! With Kirtland’s new Orientation process, we have been processing NEW 2011 Fall students since May of this year. Contrary to this idea of being ahead of the rush, it seems that NOW is the time students are making up their minds about college. With only 13 days left to get signed up for a new student orientation, the phone has been ringing off the hook. And I can understand why… figuring out that one can save 1/3 the cost starting out at a community college versus starting at a university is quite the eye opener!
